1. Introduction
Welcome to GreenStreams, a waste management and bin room monitoring system designed to promote responsible waste disposal, improve waste segregation, and prevent illegal dumping. By signing up and using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Registration
To use our services, you must register on the GreenStreams app. Registration requires a valid phone number, email address, and apartment number. Each apartment is assigned a unique access code for the bin room which is specific to that apartment and should not be shared with anyone.
3. User Obligations
As a GreenStreams user, you must:
- Only dispose of waste in the designated bins inside the bin room. Leaving rubbish outside the bin room or on the floor of the bin room is strictly prohibited.
- Segregate waste according to the provided guidelines.
- Refrain from disposing of large bulky household items in the bin room. Illegal dumping of such items is strictly prohibited.
- Not share your unique access code with anyone. If your access code is used by someone else who violates these rules, your apartment will be held responsible and may be subject to fines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the bin room.
4. Fines, Rules of the Bin Room, and Right to Appeal
The following rules apply to the use of the bin room:
- Each customer is provided with a unique access code for the bin room. This code must not be shared with anyone. If it is found that your access code has been used by someone else, and that individual violates the rules of the bin room, your apartment will be held responsible for any resulting consequences, including fines of up to €500.
- Fines of up to €500 euro will be given to anyone that is found to be illegally dumping in or outside the bin room (Illegally dumping refers to anyone placing bulky household items, chairs, mattresses, wardrobe, old beds or tables, any electrical equipment, junk items or any other household item that can not be placed in any of the wheelie bins provided. This also includes the placement of waste on the floor or outside the bin room
- Anyone that does not place the bags in the wheelie bins provided or that is found contaminating the bins with the wrong waste type will also incur a fine of between €100 to €500 depending on the local rules of the bin room
- Users have the right to appeal against any fines or penalties imposed under these rules. Appeals should be made to info@greenstreams.ie
5. Communication and Recycling Guidance
By registering with GreenStreams, you agree to receive operational communications from us via email and phone. These communications may include recycling advice, suggestions for responsible disposal of bulky items, updates on our services, and other relevant information.
6. Privacy Policy and Data Protection
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), GreenStreams is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, store, use, and disclose your personal information.
7. Limitation of Liability
GreenStreams is not responsible for any harm, damages, or injuries associated with the use of the bin room. While we strive to ensure the bin room is a safe and secure environment, we cannot control or be held liable for individual behaviors or accidents that occur within the bin room.
8. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
GreenStreams reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. We encourage users to review the terms and conditions regularly.
